Data Source
The data for this analysis was web-scraped from several websites that list rental properties in Malaysia.
Findings
State
WP Putrajaya has the highest average and median monthly house rent prices, while Kelantan has the lowest:
House Type
Here we can see the average and median monthly house rent by residence type, with bungalows topping the list (for average) and flats having the lowest monthly rent for both average and median
Furnished Status
We can see that fully furnished houses have the highest average and median rent prices.
Square Footage
As expected, rent prices tend to be higher as the square footage increases
